How to contact our team
Groundwork is a federation of independent charities. Each Groundwork Trust is a member of the federation, and signs up to a series of common aims, objectives and processes.
Groundwork North East is committed to local delivery and our ability to communicate and support the local community is our top priority and our structure reflects this commitment.
We are governed by a board which is made up of representatives from local authorities across the North East and members from the private and voluntary sector. This strategic board is supported by four committees one for each of the sub-regions of the North East who assist directly in the management of Groundwork locally and in project development, ensuring that we are in touch with local priorities and that the ownership of our programme is as much with the local partnership as possible.
Groundwork North East’s board members are:
• Graham Street • Henry Barrie (vice chair) • Kate Culverhouse • Eddie Tomlinson
• Peter Brooks • Andrew Tebbutt • Dr John Hobrough • Nick Wallis
• David Martin • Micheal Holgate
• Jill Donabie
• Lynda Peacock • Mark Charlton • David Smailes • Paul Wilding
• Clare Bambra
• Stuart Timmiss
